Dr. Balette and his staff are wonderful; exceedingly competent at what they are doing and the process is as streamlined as it can be. I was in excellent hands with my surgeon, Dr. Balette, and the office staff, nutritionist, hospital staff and anesthesiologist/CRNA were all top tier. True experts in their field. Thank you all!

Primarily Dr Balette is a down to earth smart guy and he cares. 1000’s of surgeries under the belt… he knows what he’s doing. I’m 2 years in approximately-100 lbs down, no regrets!
Just did my 2 years follow up and he gave me some good pointers to stay on track. He is a busy man but will make time for you even after the fact! The real deal…Thanks Dr Balette!

I’ve been very happy with my experience so far! From my initial meeting and now on to post surgery follow-up’s, the team has always been available to me with any questions I have. This surgery is so much more than a lifestyle change, it’s a mental change and everyone there is right there with you every step of the way. Dr. Balette is so confident it can seem scary but he knows what he’s doing and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon.

I’m not sure if the balette Bariatric Center and The Woodlands Surgical Group are the same entities, but if they are, the whole experience was enjoyable. Every team member was polite and professional. They did their best to make a stressful time into a non-event. As far as Dr. Balette goes: if I could give him more stars above, I would.

I was a little nervous at first but Dr. Balette reassured me that the surgery was safe and the best option for me. He answered all of my questions clearly and eased any of my worries.

Dr Balette and his staff are amazing , I’m usually nervous when I see a new doctor but I didn’t get nervous the first time I saw him. Dr Balette is so nice and caring I knew I chose the right doctor to do my surgery. The day of my surgery I was explained every thing throughly and yet again I wasn’t nervous . He truly cares for his patients and listens to any concerns you may have. Now my husband is coming to see him for surgery. I will choose Dr.Balette over and over again that’s how amazing he is. Meghan , Shelby are amazing as well I have messaged them regarding my diet or any concerns I have and they have gotten back to me quick. If you’re looking for a good surgeon choose Dr B , you will not be disappointed 🩷
