Was referred there after my husband had a large skin tear. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They provided both treatment and education. He was given a very thorough evaluation and provided preventative care after the wound healed. Highly recommend Wound Evolution.

I used Wound Evolution in 2025 and again in 2026. The doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff are wonderful. They know what to do and how to attack the issue. Very satisfied with the care I received from all the providers I saw. They care about their patients, are very knowledgeable in this field and make sure to explain what they are doing and how to care for the wound at home. Another huge bonus is that they run on time and I never had to wait long for my appointment time. One of the best health care experiences I have had and I highly recommend them.

Everyone in the clinic has always been helpful to my healing journey! Ryan, has been there since day one, and he is excellent in his full understanding of hyperbarics. Genesis has been with me for a few months now and she is very thorough and has and excellent beside manner. I once managed a clinic and one of my main focuses was how the healthcare providers interacted with the patients. She has that nailed!!! Crystal is newest with me, but she is very detailed and is consistent in the business side. She has a very welcoming personality as well. . Although I hope to get to the point where I never see them again, it is always an absolutely enjoyable time when I’m there.

I’ve had a complex foot wound for several months and have been working with Sam, Genesis, Ryan, and Crystal at Wound Evolution in Overland Park to get it healed. I highly recommend them!

Pros: The staff are incredibly kind, good listeners, empathetic, and really know their stuff. They go out of their way to minimize your discomfort and treat you like a whole person, not just a wound. The clinic also offers a wide variety of treatment, modalities, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy with Ryan, which limits the amount of other specialists you’d have to go see. Genesis is superb at dressing changes and placing wound VACs and keeping you entertained while she does it. Crystal runs the front office, and somehow manages to simplify insurance headaches.

Con’s: as a satellite office, it seems this location doesn’t get as much hands-on corporate management, which sometimes causes confusion or delays.
