I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Wound Evolution. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in the best hands possible. Dr. Savage is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate—she takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and makes you feel genuinely cared for. Her PA, Kelly, is equally wonderful—professional, kind, and attentive at every step of the healing process.

But what truly made my experience outstanding was Nurse Emily. She is an absolute gem. Her warmth, skill, and constant encouragement made all the difference during my recovery. Emily has a way of making you feel like you’re her top priority, and her positive energy is infectious. She truly goes above and beyond, and I always left my appointments feeling better—not just physically, but emotionally too.

If you're in need of wound care, I wouldn’t trust anyone else. This team is simply the best. Thank you all for what you do!

The doctors there were very nice and very knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and let me know what was going on. The front office people were also very nice and they also answered any questions that I had both in person and on the phone. They all did their jobs very professionaly and they were all very caring too. I give them all 5 stars for their treatment. Thanks for the great job you all did.

I did HBOT after getting my breast implants removed. Teriyan was so warm and inviting which allowed me to feel more relaxed.

Wow the doctors and staff here literally saved my life! This team has truly been a blessing to me. Having a wound is an extremely vulnerable time and they made me feel comfortable and reassured me that I was going to be okay. Thank you Dr.Hulen and Jeff for your expertise and for really caring for your patients! Thank you to the nurse staff ( Flo, Lisa and Nadia) and the hyperbaric team (Jeremy and Rusty)for caring for me thru this journey. I wanted to thank the entire team at Wound Evolution in Frisco for helping me recover from a surgical wound that was a challenge.The treatment that I received from being greeted by receptionist to the Doctors Helping me with my progress was Exceptional. The staff always made me feel welcome and at ease. Everyone in the office had a great attitude and stayed on top of my issues and concerns. I recently completed a 2.5-month treatment program at Wound Evolution and highly recommend their wound care services. After developing an infection, I was left with multiple open wounds on my arms, legs, and underarms—making this a challenging and emotional journey.

What stood out most was the consistent encouragement I received during my weekly appointments, which helped me stay motivated by tracking my progress. The clinic’s thoughtful approach when transitioning me to new bandages or wound care medications was also much appreciated—they always provided enough supplies while my prescriptions were processed through insurance and mailed to me.

Special thanks to Shelby, who was always attentive and compassionate, even when I asked tough questions like, “How long until I’m healed?” Her healing timeline predictions were remarkably accurate. I also want to commend Cory, who manages the hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He showed exceptional patience and care, personally assisting me (and all the other patients) with tasks like standing and putting on my shoes until I regained full independence.

One concern I encountered during my treatment was the possibility of my hyperbaric therapy sessions being paused or discontinued to accommodate patients with more severe wounds, as explained by the team. Fortunately, this resulted in only a brief one-day delay. Additionally, I experienced some pressure to conclude hyperbaric therapy based on what was described as “typical treatment durations.” In hindsight, I believe it would have been helpful for this policy to be clearly communicated at the outset, so I could have considered all my options.

Given that my wounds were not yet fully healed and my insurance continued to approve the sessions, I chose to advocate for ongoing treatment, and the team ultimately supported my decision. For prospective patients, I recommend confirming in advance that Wound Evolution will fully support your hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the entire duration needed—so long as it is covered by insurance or until your wounds are completely healed.

Overall, I am very grateful to the entire Wound Evolution team for their professionalism, support, and dedication throughout my care.

I was so happy I chose Wound Evolution as my wound treatment clinic. Every person that works there are so nice!! Especially Dr Benavides and Arielle Dr Benavides nurse. From the time I first came in for the initial treatment till just today where I graduated to Wound completely healed!! It made me so happy to have had both these wonderful women treat my wound!! I would highly recommend recommend coming to this particular clinic for all your concerns when it comes to to wound treatment. Thank you Dr Benavides and Arielle for your total support!! For the past couple of months, these ladies have been a treat!! My injury was bad and stressful. Then you hear you now have to go to wound care. The team did a great job of putting me at ease, explaining the process, and made each visit enjoyable. Going to a dr office that is actually not a bad experience is always a plus. Maybe they can be my dr for everything now :)
