Dr. Lekshmi Pillai Daram earned her medical degree in 2013 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her Pediatrics residency in 2016 at Children’s Health, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas. Dr. Daram is board certified in Pediatrics and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Daram served as a primary care physician at Children’s Health Pediatric Group in Dallas. From 2018 to 2020, she was a primary care physician at Near North Health Service Corporation, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Chicago, and a Medical Student Preceptor at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Ariz. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2019.

Dr. Daram is a wonderful doctor! She always listens to any concerns and provides great feedback. We have been seeing her since our daughter was a newborn and we are so grateful for her.

She was very thorough, and I liked the fact that she explained why I should listen to her recommendations. It is important for patients to understand what is going on, and why we need to take action. People are more inclined to listen to doctors, who bring their patients into the decision-making process because we feel valued and understood. Dr. Daram accomplished this.
