Dr. Farooq Cheema earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2005 at King Edward Medical University, Nila Gumbad, Lahore-Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2011 at Michigan State University. He completed his Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship in 2014 at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Mich.

Takes very good care of me. Gives me through exam asks a.multitude of questions ANF looks you in the eye when talking. Has a lot of knowledge about his specialty.

Dr. Cheema is empathetic and a good listener. He let me discuss my notes and concerns and did not rush our visit. I left with a plan of action for my sleep apnea. If you need a sleep doctor or pulmonologist I highly recommend him and his KS team.

He went out of his way to help and accommodate me despite my not having an appointment 7. He was very reassuring about the doctor who was going to be doing my procedure 8. He knew what to say to make me feel safe and to comfort me 9. He paid attention to what I was saying, even as a much older woman 10. He was constantly aware of my comfort and need to feel somewhat in control and helped me feel that way, while doing the right thing by me. Brilliant, kind, caring and respectful. He looks you in the eye when he's talking to you. I think he is very knowledgeable in what he wants you to follow his schedule he assignsw. Me personally I like him a lot.
