Elaine Garcia is a Physician Assistant to Drs. Carminia Davidshon, Cynthia Basaldua and Peter Halvorson, who care for patients at our Cypress Clinic. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed to practice by the Texas Medical Board. After earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of Houston – Downtown in 2006, Elaine completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2011. Following graduation, she took a year off to be a full-time mother. Elaine then joined Cypress Springs Family Care as a PA-C from 2013 to 2017 and its sister clinic Epic Family Care as a PA-C from 2015-2017. Her work included assessing and performing clinical exams for sick visits and annual physicals and performing therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, as well as managing wounds and infections among other duties. She also previously worked as a PA-C at Everhealth, PLLC from 2015-2016, where her responsibilities included direct patient contact and telemedicine services for outlying clinics for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Elaine joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2017.

As a Clinical Social Worker I appreciate when a provider has excellent bedside professionalism. My expectations of a provider is more than a service; patients should feel welcomed, respected, and given a sense of empathy, after all I'm not purchasing a gallon of milk. I'm more than a client, I'm coming to you at my most vulnerable time and all I/patients want, is for you to be pleasant; kind, humble, and most importantly be respectful. That's what Ms. Garcia represents. She is awe some!
