After completing his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2008, Dr. Nayeb-Hashemi completed his residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary Department of Ophthalmology in Chicago in 2012. He received a cornea/refractive surgery fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, which he completed in 2013.

Dr Hashemi is a skilled physician and surgeon, with a brief, to-the-point communication style, courteous, caring, effective. My wife and I appreciate having had the pleasure of his services for cataract surgeries since his arrival 8-years ago.
