After receiving her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Omsk State Medical Academy in Omsk, Russian Federation in 2007, Dr. Hansen (formerly Rakhmatulina) completed a residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in the department of family and community medicine in 2016. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August of 2016.

Elmira Hansen is very thorough and professional. She asks very pointed questions regarding my condition and does a complete examination. She is personable and sincere with her advice and recommendations.

It was my first time to meet Dr. Hansen who was kind enough to accommodate my need to have a couple of prescriptions updated right away since Dr. Hoang had retired. As first impressions go, I wish there were more stars over a 5-Star overall rating. She spoke very clearly with nary an attempt to drop medical jargons to sound impressive. I thought she was well spoken but more importantly she made me comfortable and well at ease as a patient who met her for the first time. Since my wife and I are both looking for another PCP, I think we just found one to replace the wonderful Dr. Hoang who was our doctor for two decades.
