After receiving her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Omsk State Medical Academy in Omsk, Russian Federation in 2007, Dr. Hansen (formerly Rakhmatulina) completed a residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in the department of family and community medicine in 2016. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August of 2016.

She became our doctor when Dr Hoang whom we admired greatly retired.
Dr Hansen has a very pleasant demeanor, always smiling, and listens attentively well and she addresses our concerns and questions with care and compassion. She is very reassuring that instills real confidence with us.

This Dr . Is very easy to communicate with , explains in detail about my symptoms . Makes decisions accordingly and advices what is the best solution . Listens to my problem about how i feel when taking my meds.

Dr. Elmira Hansen always greets us (my husmand was with me) with her sweet smile. Even though the results of my blood work were "abnormal" (high on A1C), she cheered me up with her encouraging comments. She said the results on A1C was not all that bad for my age (81 years young :) although I could benefit from a lower number. She told me to keep my sugar intake as low as possible and to minimize rice and other carbohydrates in my diet.
