After earning his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2013, Dr. Saikin completed an Internal Medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2016.

The reason asked why I like DR Phillip Saiken is simple he should be listed in the Texas Super Doctores list cause he is very through as a DR should be are hard to find new accepting patients. I am writing on behalf of Maria who speaks little English as an interpreter. She states that he was amazing he found in her being the first visit going in as upper respiratory and congestion for about a month seeing already Two new MD Doctors with Kelsey and an urgent carenow PA has been given several antibiotics she has a Innocent Heart Murmur “We did not know and had never told that” Dr. Phillip doing his above and beyond the norm not just a name on paper nor fitting a glove some Doctors do BUT listening and asking the right questions to help the patient. She doing an about face in recovery in less than 24 hours. Thank you Dr Phillip Sakien. You have went in 1 visit made a happy patient be free to recover from that sickness in doing so repairing her GUT to normal after all that Antibiotics. Looking to have you as our PCP in the family especially after our 18 year with our retired PCP in late November because an experience Dr I hard to find to fill the shoes in replacing him. I feel we have found an excellent replacement for our new PCP. Hope the DR Phillip Saiken keeps up his good work.

I did not feel rushed. He listened to all my medical concerns. And took time to work a care plan with me.

Dr. Saikin is very pleasant, patient, attentive and informative.
Although he was a random selection when my Primary Care Physician of many years retired, I feel very fortunate to have a physician of his caliber taking care of my medical needs.

Dr. Philip Saikin has been my Primary Care Physician for several years now and he’s an Awesome doctor! He’s very compassionate, professional, caring, concerned and very knowledgeable. He takes time to discuss and addresses all my concerns and health issues with detailed information. I truly appreciate him assisting me and I’m Blessed to have him as my doctor. Thanks Dr. Saikin for all you doing to help me get back to a normal lifestyle. He is diligent when taking my history, doing an examination and reviewing my lab results. He is patient and understanding when listening to my many long winded complaints and when I cannot fully explain what I am experiencing. He is confident and clear in his diagnosis. Lastly he has a sense of humor. I am grateful to have him as a physician.
