After graduating from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2013, Dr. Crooms completed an Internal Medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2016. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2016.

Very professional and has great bedside manners. You’re not just a number to her. Dr. Crooms doesn’t rush you out of her office; she makes sure she discusses everything about your examination. She cares a great deal about her patients. I rate Dr. Crooms a high 5 and I give her an A +.

Wow. Dr Crooms was INCREDIBLE!!! She leaned in and listened to me patiently. She asked follow up questions, did my check up, and she gave me recommendations and next steps that reflected that she thought deeply about what was in my best interest as a patient, to get to my outcomes. Further, after our visit, she sent an after visit summary and I just felt so… seen, validated and cared for!!!! Thank you sooooo much Dr Crooms for being such an incredible doctor.

Dr. Crooms listened very carefully about my experiences, then provided a precise plan of treatment for each, including laboratory tests, prescriptions and other procedures.

Dr. Croom’s really does care about her patients and it shows. She knows her medicine and has really helped me. She is kind and generous in her approach when dealing with me. I am most grateful for her taking care of me.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Crooms, and I’m very glad I chose her. She is personable and very knowledgeable, and listened and answered all of my questions and concerns completely. Her assistant Jennifer was very efficient, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Very minimal wait-times during all of the steps I went through. However, Kelsey-Seybold needs to streamline their new self check-in procedure to get a check-in barcode—IF YOU SEND A CHECK-IN TEXT AND/OR EMAIL TO ME, THEN YOU ALREADY KNOW WHO I AM! So there is absolutely no reason for me to have to jump through hoops (and inadvertently enter a wrong verification code and/or my date of birth on my cell phone with my fat fingers) just to get a bar code that you should have automatically sent to me. Please carefully consider my suggestion.

I enjoy Dr Crooms as my PCP I’m always able to schedule an appointment when needed, I sent in a refill request and it was done same day. She’s very down to earth and any issues, questions, or concerns I have she resolves immediately as well as explains thoroughly. I can’t see myself with any other PCP. I feel lucky and blessed to have discovered her a true Gem.

Dr. Jaimis Crooms MD is a wonderful Dr. She listens and answers all your questions and explains the answers very detailed so it’s easy to understand.. She never rush's you or moves on to something else to avoid any concerns you might have. I look forward to more yearly visits with Dr J Crooms.
