After graduating from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Dr. Muniz completed an Internal Medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2016.

She was thorough and asked questions that pertained to my health problems. She, also, asked if I was taking steps to improve my health and encouraged me to follow a healthy lifestyle to improve my quality of life.

She is very clear about explaining things to me so that I understand. She gives me time to explain what is bothering me and will refer me to the right doctors who specialize in my ailments. Her staff is very kind and always calms me down and makes me comfortable before Dr Muniz comes in.

Attentive to what I had to say, gave me the time to communicate my health story (my view) with Dr. Marrufo, even though she (obviously) had access to the history. Respectful of my decisions on optional treatments.

Dr. Muniz is very thorough, stays abreast of all my issues even the ones I’m being treated for with the other doctors . She is easy to talk to and I consider her my friend.

Last week I met Doctor Brenna for the first time. She made a great impression on me because she gave me her full attention during my visit. She's kind and very professional. I will definitely consult her again.

This was my first visit with her and it was an after hospital stay with a broken hip. She had looked over my records and was prepared to treat me. She took time to get everything that had happened and gave me a plan to go ahead with my healing. Very efficient and caring! Because of the excellent care she will now become my PCP.
