After graduating from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, Dr. Tschen received his Fifth Pathway certificate from New York Medical College. He then completed his General Surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal surgery with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

This was my 1st time meeting Dr. Jose Tschen. He was very knowledgeable, and helpful with all my questions and concerns from the after surgery. As well before surgery. Understanding my needs. His staff were fabulous in the office.

He's awesome! Makes the patient feel very welcome and answers all questions thoroughly and with detailed explanations. He also was able to work with me on scheduling the surgery to stay within my current insurance plan before the renewal. He is awesome!
