Zubia graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Spanish and Biology. She attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at The University of Texas -RGV in 2014. She became the first primary care PA-C at Kelsey-Seybold under the supervision of Donnie Aga, M.D., in May 2015. Zubia has since excelled in telemedicine visits and now manages all Internal Medicine PAs. She sees patients in clinic for routine physicals, well-woman exams, follow-up visits, and weight loss management; treats acute illnesses; and manages chronic diseases.

She knew exactly what I needed, within a couple of days I was so much better.
She got straight to the point, was knowledgeable how to help me, gave excellent recommendations during my visit and she was nice. I was comfortable seeing her.

Very quick and efficient. I noticed symptoms in the morning and I had an appointment with a Doctor in the afternoon. She heard me out, understood exactly what I needed and got me help quickly! Efficiency is key for me and I got that and great care!!
