After completing her residency in 2008, Dr. Abuazza began working as an Assistant Professor and Pediatric Nephrology Consultant in the Hypertension and Renal Transplantation Division at the University of Kentucky Hospital. She had training in pediatric nephrology through a fellowship. She worked in Pediatrics in both Louisiana and Saudi Arabia before moving to Houston and working as a pediatrician in 2013. Dr. Abuazza joined Kelsey-Seybold in June 2015.

Dr. Abuazza was very understanding and helpful. After a long day at work/home she still made some time to take care of patients after business hours. It was late in the evening and she still managed to have a great positive attitude.
