After completing a Bachelor of Science in chemistry at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. in 1998, Dr. Kuhl completed her doctorate of medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2005.

Dr kuhl is a simply an amazing dr, she takes the time to listen, is extremely compassionate and caring in providing the best treatment for my asthma issues I have had since childhood and she prescribed the amazing monthly xolair shots that I’ve been receiving for nearly two years
This treatment has been life changing for me as I’ve not had a full blown asthma attack since taking these shots, no steroids and it’s just fantastic
The only downside for me is since Kelsey don’t take Medicare - I have to sign up for an advantage plan that covers me to keep seeing all my drs within Kelsey Seybold
This has worked very well until enrolling this year as rules now state the drug plan is mandatory coverage within this plan
I did have lifetime drug coverage and Medicare complimentary united health cover and the co pays we’re extremely favourable- especially for my xolair shots that were $80 thru the silverscript shell retiree program
Now since enrobing with Aetna advantage my co pay for same xolair is approx $720 for one month
I simply cannot afford these prices and will have to drop this plan and return to my previous drug plan and revert to Medicare
Hence I will have to find all new doctors who take Medicare
The sad thing is I love all my drs I see within Kelsey and have done for nearly 20 years
This has caused me great anxiety and stress, I just wish I could remain on a plan that enables me to use my previous silverscript drug plan
I’m really devastated at the situation

Dr. Kuhl was professional and caring. She attempted to make the mask & head gear fit better. She explained my results of my CPAP machine and the reason I was loosing too much air was because my mask & head gear did not fit properly. She looked up different head gear & mask on line, wrote down several styles for me to give to Nancy at Memorial Hermann Home Health so I could use my CPAP machine correctly & get the necessary benefits for my sleep apnea. She also made sure I had prescriptions for my necessary medication for my asthma. I felt very comfortable and that finally I could have improved sleep and not be extremely tired all day. I also have hope that my narcolepsy will dealt with later so I will no longer be paralyzed in my sleep if the sleep apnea is improved.

Dr. Kuhl was great. She made me feel comfortable. She took the time to explain the results of my sleep apnea reports. She tried to adjust the headgear and mask. I was given. She explained that I need to be fitted with the new mask . She wrote down several mask styles for me to take back to Memorial Hermann Home Health so I could be properly fitted. I felt like I had hope in dealing with my sleep issues and finally I could finally not be tired all the time.
