After earning a degree in biology and German from Rice University in 1995, Dr. Johnston completed medical school at the National University of Ireland at Cork in 2003. Dr. Johnston completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2006 and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2008.

Dr. Johnston takes the time to listen and understands exactly any issues I might be having in his field. I trust him. To me, that is the most important aspect of having the right doctor.

Too his time with me, explain to me what his diagnosis was once he examined my left knee, took X-rays and did not rush the appointment time. Nurses assistant was awesome as well. Thank you Dr. Johnston by the way the shot you gave in my knee is much better than other shots
