For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Chae went to Harvard College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with highest honors in Biology in 1995. Dr. Chae continued her education at Harvard Medical School, receiving her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Doctorate in Medicine in 2004.

Dr. Chae was so quick and confident in her process of clearing up scar tissue from my cataract surgery (a/k/a second cataract). She allowed me to see clearly again. It's as if someone turned the lights on and I can see I. Technicolor.
