Dr. Richard Byrd is Chief of Pediatrics at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Dr. Byrd received both his undergraduate degree in pre-medicine and his medical degree from Texas A & M University. He completed his internship and residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Dr. Byrd is a great pediatrician! He has seen my daughters since they were new born. 8 and and 6 year later he is still the one I trust for the care of my children ❤️

He is always thorough nice and friendly. He addresses all our concerns and provides us with good information and resources to take the best care of our son. He cares.

My first time taking my daughter to see Dr. Byrd and he is a great physician. Extremely knowledgeable, very thorough and has a great sense of humor. I’ve never received test results back so fast and met daughters prescription was ready in record time. Not sure how that happened but overall great experience. Thank you Dr. Byrd for taking great care of my daughter.

We have known Dr. Byrd since the day our son was born; he was rounding at the hospital that day. He hasn't always been our pediatrician because of insurance changes. He has been our pediatrician the last 6 years and he is an experienced, skilled clinician also up on the latest of everything. We trust him 100% and he has earned that with his skill and kindness.

Dr Byrd listens and doesn’t push things on you that you are uncertain about. He’s also very patient with kids

I would say one of best doctor in Kelsey. He always listen to our concerns and provide good care for my baby. He doesn’t rush. Explain everything very clearly . I recommend dr Byrd to everyone .

Dr. Byrd did a wonderful job of listening before offering feedback. He was also very kind in nature. It was one of the best visits I've had at Kelsey.

I am quite pleased with the care my son received from Dr. Byrd. He put me at ease right away, was patient, understanding, and listened to all of my concerns. My son spoke highly of him as well.
