Sebastian Scobercea, M.D., earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry at Northwestern University in 1992. In 1996, he received his medical degree at Loyola University of Chicago-Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Scobercea completed his residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Family Medicine. Prior to moving to Texas, he worked for eight years as a family physician in Illinois.

Doctor Scobercea is very personable. He listens to his patients and responds with practical advice for where you are in life. I appreciate that he does not rush through my appointment time with him.

Dr Scobercea took the time to get to know me and trust my input over the years. He has never talked down to me, takes the time to answer my many questions, and genuinely seems to care.

I like Dr. Scobercea's bedside manner; he cares about his patients. There are many gifted and knowledgeable physicians who have no idea how to relate to patients, but he definitely does. In addition, I appreciate the sense of confidence in his job that his twenty-five years of experience affords him.

He listens to his patients (especially me) when he really did well just to allow me to see him on an emergency basis. He always has an answer or suggestion when one needs it the most. He is my fav doctor and I trust him to the moon and back with my life!! He IS the best family doctor my husband and I have ever had!
