After completing her residency at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio in June 2012, Dr. Sokunbi began working for IPC Healthcare as an Internal Medicine hospitalist in an acute care hospital. Dr. Sokunbi also worked in Pediatric Medicine for IPC Healthcare.

Dr. Sokunbi was friendly and concerned about my health. She listened to all my concerns and addressed them. She was patient and I didn’t feel rushed. Glad to have her as my primary doctor.

I like her because she listens to me and helps me work to my goals. She is very knowledgeable. I will drive the extra miles to Richmond. Just so I can see her.
I have been going to Kelsey for 40 years and she is the the best Primary Care Physician I have had.

Dr. Sokundi has put me on a solid path to much improved health. Working very collaboratively has enabled me to lose over 50 lbs so far. Dr. Sokundi is very knowledgeable and thorough in her approach to patient care. I could not be any happier with her and her level of care and support.

Dr. Sokunbi is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, observant and friendly. She is treating me since I moved to Houston, around 8 years ago.

She is thorough, caring, and as many patients as she cares for she manages to spend enough time with each patient evaluating and discussing a very detailed treatment plan.

She is an AWESOME physician who takes the conditions of her patients as if they were her own family. I have always enjoyed visiting with her because of her honesty and truthfulness. She doesn’t “sugar-coat” her diagnoses.

Dr. Sokunbi is amazing, not only is she knowledgeable she is thorough, always explains in detail and in a manner in which you understand. She has excellent bedside manner. Her medical assistant Genet is equally great . I refer everyone I know to her.

Dr. Sokunbi has such a phenomenal way of listening to my concerns and addressing them in a way that I can understand. She will lay out a plan starting where I am and explain how I will get to where I need to be. She takes the time and I feel she truly cares about me, which I find refreshing in today's world.

An appointment with Dr. Sokunbi and her staff is like a visit with old friends. They know about your past and are interested in your future. They are glad to see you and to help with your needs. I trust Dr. Sokunbi with my health care and am pleased to recommend her and Kelsey Seybold.
