After completing a Dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2010, Dr. Mir was awarded a procedural dermatology fellowship with The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, which he completed in 2011.

Dr. Mir is calm and has a reassuring bedside manner. He shows both competency and compassion. Special kudos to his staff as well. The entire team took wonderful care of me, and I would especially like to commend Kay, the nurse assigned to me. She was sweet and caring, as well as being extremely professional.

He is very competent and skilled in Mohs surgery and I trust him. Unfortunately, for me I have to see him frequently to have skin cancer removed, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to do it but him.

Dr. Mir and his staff use ordinary language to explain the procedure. Such a relief to NOT be annoyed with medical jargon.
