After earning her medical degree from the University of Dhaka in 1985, Zakia Nuruddin, M.D., completed her internship and residency at the Lutheran Medical Center in 1999. Dr. Nuruddin is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and Harris County Medical Society.

Extremely good doctor. She is very knowledgeable and courteous. She really shows concern for the patient. She does not rush in and out. She is a true asset. I totally feel comfortable talking with her. She has helped me tremendously in my health journey.

I have been seeing Dr. Nuruddin for many years now. I would highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and has a good sense of humor. Can’t say enough good things about her.

I was very sorry to hear that Dr. Nuruddin is retiring. I have been in her care for 18 years. I wish her well andI’ll miss her.

This was my 3rd office visit to Dr Nuruddin. What has kept me from switching to another doctor is that she takes the time to ask questions regarding my aches, pains and/or ailments, then listens when I wish to share something. It seems to me that this is a rare element these days. Instead, several of the other doctors I have had are always in a rush to perform their evaluation and then rush off to the next patient. I will continue seeing Dr Nuruddin for the simple fact that I get the impression that she really cares and is interested in my condition (whatever it may be).

I have only seen her twice. I felt like she heard me and understood and wants to help me. It's been a good experience thus far.
