Dr. Rao is a graduate of Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at New Orleans. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor School of Medicine in 2003.

Dr. Rao is not only an excellent professional, but a wonderful human being. My pregnancy was significantly better because of her care and I would recommend her to anyone. We will be forever grateful for her role in this time in our lives.

Aside from her professionalism and deep knowledge/experience with her profession, I always feel safe and well-taken care off during my OB visits. Not a single time that she made me feel neglected and uncomfortable. She is thorough, smart, and I feel confident with my pregnancy because I know she’s my OB. So glad I chose her and I am very thankful to her for helping me get through this milestone of my life.

Dr Rao has the ability to understand a patient’s situation, perspective and feelings and is able to communicate that understanding back to the patient. Her aim of practice seems to be to provide good and sound care that helps you to make decisions to live a good quality of life.

It’s not that i like Dr.Rao I love her the reason why is because she’s makes your experience with her feel personal and she breaks down ever term that she uses and what she is doing and why she is doing it she also makes you feel very warm and welcome and safe she is the best and probably the only Obgyn I trust I would recommend her to any and every pregnant lady I see

Dr Rao is very thorough in her procedural care, communication and follow up. She is very knowledgable and clearly makes time to study, learn, and stay up to date with the latest procedures, drugs, FDA approvals, etc. She is definitely conservative - but in the right way. I would highly recommend her.
