He is caring, knowlegeable, professionalal, & takes the time to expain & engage the patient in decesions about the patient's own health care. I have been going to him for 20+ years and every visit is a joy.

If i tell you i have not had an interaction with a dr like that in the Kelsey network for the last 10 yrs, would you belive me? Love you Dr Montalvo! Not only did i get answers of the how but also the why. I was immediately sent for labs. Dr Montalvos team was amazing too.

Mom loves Dr. Montalvo. He spends time with her, explains everything, and treats her so well. He is a very knowledgeable and trusting physician.

This doctor took his time introducing himself and explaining why I had been referred to him. He went into a detailed explanation of what test he was ordering and that he would be following up with another appointment to discuss with me the test results.

We’re do I start…Dr. Montalvo is a breath of fresh air!!! This was my first visit with him and I didn’t know I was so tensed until he told me to relax, I’m here for you! He’s an hands on doctor, he listened to me and talked with me not at me! He smiled, he joked because I’ve had no so good experience with these new and younger doctors!! He didn’t rush me, he cared about my health and wanted what’s best for me!! Excellent, excellent doctor!!!

It was my first time office visit with Dr Montalvo and was very thorough with exam and explanation of pros and cons with my case. His care made me comfortable in how to proceed with given options available.

He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain everything. He also listens to all my questions. He understands my problem and is giving me ways to help. He is very patient centered and I will definitely refer him to my friends and family.

Dr Montalvo is very professional; he provides great Customer care with respect and kindness and builds an emotional connection with me as a patient. I have several Doctors/Specialist at Kelsey-Seybold, and they do not provide this type of care, this should be handled by everyone on a Care team, not just deliver medical services.
He treats a patient how they want to be treated and listens to an individual’s needs to find the best solution.
