After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1994, Dr. Higgins earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. In 1999, she went to The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston for her residency in Pediatrics, which she completed in 2002.

Her kindness, her soft spoken voice that calms you when not knowing what’s wrong with your child. Her knowledge and how she explains things. Has been my children’s doctor for the past 12years and we just love her.💕

Dr. Higgins was very thorough, she took her time, but most importantly she listened to me. I felt heard and I could've cried. I knew something wasn't right with my baby and she tested him until she figured it out. Thank you for hearing me and for getting my baby on a treatment plan.

Dr. Higgins was very attentive to my daughter and had excellent bedside manners. I would definitely refer Dr. Higgins to family and friends for their little ones care.

Dr. Higgins was very professional and my daughter was set on seeing her regular doctor but she really took a liking to Dr Higgins and is ok with Dr Higgins becoming her doctor.

Dr. Angela Higgins was very thorough, knowledgeable, and had an excellent bedside manner. Mybsin liked her as well and she was able to effortlessly engage with him. We have been looking for a pediatrician since our last 2 have retired ; I think we have found the one!

I liked how she took time and listened to my concerns, and my son loved the little pop it bracelet he received at the end of his visit.

She listens to whats is happening and gives me good advice on what to do and how to help my child also try her best to help my child is an amazing dr
