After graduating from Columbia University’s medical school in 1972, Dr. Newmark completed an Internal Medicine residency through the college at Harlem Hospital in 1973. In 1976, Dr. Newmark completed a fellowship at Columbia’s Neurology Institute.

Dr Newmark, upon hearing my urgent complaint immediately arranged to examine me, arranged testing, prescribed treatment, and order medication through the Kelsey pharmacy. A plan for watching progress was initiated and a backup plan for surgery identified. All clinic resources were deployed in a timely manner in a kind caring and generous way. A classic medical encounter with a brilliant doctor.

Dr. Newmark has Excellent bedside manners, very easy to talk to and most important he listens to my issues. I wish more Drs. would be more receptive in their bedside manners. Thank You for having Dr. Newmark.

Dr Newmark is frank yet has a great bedside manner. He took the time to listen and pay attention to my concerns. He asked any questions to further investigate those concerns. My wife did research on the Neuroligist with Kelsey and liked Dr. Newmark the best and it was a good choice.

Dr. Newmark is very knowledgeable and quite personable. He cares for his patient's welfare, and it shows by how he is very thorough during the office visit and how he examines lab test results and relays the info.

Dr. Newmark listens to your concerns. He takes his time and gives a complete exam. Gives important information to increase better health. Dr. Newmark has wonderful personality in dealing with his older patients. So happy to have him as our neurological doctor.

Dr. Newmark is a very experienced,knowledgable doctor. He is very professional, a good listener, caring and empathetic. Dr. Newmark is very patient indeed
