After earning his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, in Washington D.C., Dr. Velez completed an internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City; and completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, in Miami, Florida. He completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I had a very good experience during my visit. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was given clear information about my appointment.
The staff was helpful and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Dr Velez took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and explain everything clearly. I did not feel rushed, and I appreciated the way my concerns were addressed.
The entire visit was well organized, from check-in to seeing the doctor and finally checking out. The checkout process was also quick and easy, and the staff made sure I understood any follow-up instructions before I left.
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and the level of customer service I received from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this office to others.
