After graduating from Baylor College of Medicine in 2009, Dr. Kaufman completed his residency in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in 2015. He completed a fellowship from the Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center at Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif., in 2016.

Dr Kaufman is just incredible. As a person and as a surgeon he’s so kind and truly listens to your goals and makes them a reality. His surgical assistant Laura is also absolutely amazing. She so sweet and so helpful. I feel so blessed to have found them. I truly had the best possible team

Dr Kaufman seems very knowledgeable and takes time to explain things to you and answers any questions you have. He's very thoughtful and kind and appears to understand your concerns.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Kaufman and Laura. For the past three years, through every stage of my breast cancer journey and multiple reconstruction surgeries, they have been a constant source of compassion, professionalism, and support. From my very first appointment, I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Kaufman’s skill and attention to detail are extraordinary, but what truly sets him apart is his kindness and ability to make you feel safe and confident, even when you're scared. Laura has been equally incredible. She is patient, thorough, and always willing to take the time to explain, reassure, and check in with genuine empathy. I will forever be grateful for their friendship, thoughtful care, and the way they’ve helped me feel whole again.

Dr Kaufman and his team are all very kind, and attentive. From the moment I walk in I feel completely at ease. I am very confident in the genuine and committed care from Dr. Kaufman in helping me look my best. I always look forward to my visits and highly recommend for anyone considering cosmetic treatments!

I had a face injury and needed to see a plastic surgeon quickly. Dr. Kaufman met with me for a 30-minute consultation where he listened carefully, communicated a go-forward plan, and answered all of my questions. Very kind and caring. His office staff was great as well -- expedient and easy to communicate with. Overall, good experience!
