After earning his medical degree from Dow Medical College in 1984, Iftikhar Sarwar, M.D., completed his Internal Medicine internship at State University Of New York at Stony Brook in 1993 and his residency at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Sarwar saw me replacing Dr Huang my regular physician. Dr Sarwar examined my recent hospitalization and ongoing problems.
He reassured me that I did not have a UTInfection. Recommended probiotics which have worked well and gave me a prescription to replace Preparation H. This too was a great relief. He also looked at a long standing mouth sore and told me it should be biopsed by my oral surgeon (he said it would go away in June 2023)
who no longer takes Kelsey HMO insurance. Contacted UHCDental who gave me an email with Oral Surgeons who will take our insurance.
The first name on my zip code list DrLopez would not accept me as a patient. Does not take
UHC dental/ Kelsey signature HMO. So I am now searching for a surgeon who will.
Dr Sarwar examined me and discussed my concerns. He gave me his full attention asked detailed questions. I am impressed with Dr Sarwar.

Because he is very kind and patient. He takes the time to diagnose the problem and is determined to help find a solution. I am convinced that if there is a solution, he will find it. Dr. Sarwar is exceptional.
