After completing his residency in 2013, Dr. Massumi began a fellowship program in cardiovascular diseases at the Texas Heart Institute at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, which he completed in 2016. He followed with a dedicated advanced fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute, which he completed in 2017.

He is a very educated, compassionate and friendly Doctor. Wish I could use him for my everything Doctor. He’s just amazing!! Highly recommend him.

Dr. Massumi and his fellow, Dr. Burks(?) both listened to my concerns / symptoms and then explained their opinions to me in terms that I could understand. They both made me feel at ease in their office and they are knowledgeable in their fields.

Straight forward approach. I appreciate him as my Cardiologist. I enjoy our interaction.
What I have trouble with is your EPIC video conferencing system. I had my wife as a separate party joining us from a different location but each time, she attempted to join she was cut off. When she joined the meeting, I was cut off from Dr. Massumi. This needs to be addressed. I was charged $55 for the video conference with the proviso that she would be included. I have experience with ZOOM and MS TEAMS and your EPIC system does not meet their standards. With that in mind, I feel my account should be credited for the $55 I was charged for the video meeting.

Dr. Massumi and his staff actually took the time to listen to me and my opinion. Dr. Massumi seemed concerned and actually cared about my past, which led to the current situation. For a lack of better terminology, Dr. Massumi's assistant, Abby, was extremely concerned and enthusiastic about assisting me.
