Dr. Jafarnia (and Jennifer Ogle) is excellent. They are very good at what they do, but more importantly, they are good humans. No one ever volunteers for surgery, but Dr. Jafarnia first tried to correct my injury with manual manipulation and then explained treatment options for my consideration. After I decided on having him perform the operation, he scheduled me at the earliest available time possible (the following Monday morning after he checked for the very same Friday afternoon of my initial consultation).

Dr Jafarnia, Methodist Orthopedic surgeon is humble but has amazing skills. I had multiple surgeries in April 2024 which caused brachial plexus and ulnar nerve damage. And had been to 2 different orthopedic surgeons that just pushed therapy which did nothing and still didn't want to consider surgical intervention. So for about 18 months I had a useless right arm and hand that virtually nothing helped with the pain and woke up 5-6 times a night because my arm was throbbing. I was beyond frustrated and my primary care recommended giving Dr Jafarnia a visit. He studied my prior tests and did a thorough exam and agreed the damage was severe and wouldn't be able to help with the ulnar nerve damage and specializes in elbow wrist and hand.As for the brachial plexus that was advice to see another specialist. So there was hope that I could get some relief by going into the elbow and he presented me with multiple versions to release the nerve once I was in the OR. He didn't make any promises and if anything understated the result other than saying he could give me pain relief. The damage was severe I couldn't even write my own name my ring and pinky fingers were curled up most of the time. So I couldn't hold anything without dropping it and the funny bone was constantly sending jolts of shocks. Well it's been 3 weeks since the surgery and I have no more numbness or throbbing and full use of my hand. Anyone who knows me and what I had experienced are shocked by the results. I can't thank Dr Jafarnia and his staff enough for their compassion positivity and support. I just wish I had been more diligent a year ago. But in the end my daily routine and quality of life was restored and greatly enhanced after what other surgeons led me to believe was impossible was made possible by Dr Jafarnia. And he even has recommended Dr Echo who he said is the best when it comes to brachial plexus nerve damage. Dr Jafarnia is passionate and was gifted with a unique skill set and I am fortunate that he not only agreed to do the surgery. It has definitely changed my life for the better.

I was so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Jafarnia for my broken wrist. Dr Jafarnia and Jennifer Ogle, his PA, are top notch professionals. The care I received from the first meeting until released was superior. Dr. Jafarnia's words gave me confidence I was in good hands for surgery. Reassurance on my visits with him and Jennifer helped boost my morale that I was going to get better. My commitment to occupational therapy was crucial for recovery. 5 broken pieces of my left radius in July, and I was able to hit golf balls at the range mid October. I then played 18 holes of golf mid November. I am so thankful to Dr. Jafarnia and his team.

Dr Jafarnia and his entire staff were wonderful. Kind, professional, patient and understanding of my concerns. It had been over 35 years since I have had any surgery, so I was obviously nervous and hesitant. I’m additional, I was impressed with the hospital staff.
I would highly recommend Dr jafarnia, PA Jennifer and their staff. Thank you.

I recently saw Dr. Jarfarnia for an injured finger. I really don't want to share how wonderful he and is staff is as it took me 2 months to get in. lol. The wait was worth it. He fixed my elbow over 15 years ago and was exceptional then too. I could have seen someone else sooner, but when you trust a doctor and know he is good you will wait. He has a great bed side manner and will help you. But if you don't do the work he isn't a miracle worker. Follow his advice and you are good.

Dr. Jafarnia is an exceptional surgeon! He performed a complicated wrist surgery on my son, and the results were AMAZING. The surgery was a complete success, and we are beyond grateful for his expertise and care. Not only is he a highly skilled professional, but he's also a genuinely kind and compassionate person. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

I had suffered with tennis elbow for over about 1-1/2 years hoping it would heal. After researching and finding Dr. Jafarnia, made an appointment, he provided me with options for care, and I decided to have surgery due to a tear in the muscle. He performed the surgery, I went to a few appointments with PT and since then have had a great outcome. My strength is back with no pain. If you want a good first opinion, go see the team at Dr Jafarnias. Then get a second opinion if you want to spend extra money. Because you won't need one.

Dr. Jafarnia and his team provided exceptional care. His staff was courteous, respectful, and delivered outstanding customer service. I highly recommend their practice.

I had the best experience with Dr. Jafarnia and his team. Although breaking my elbow while running was unfortunate, I am truly grateful I met Dr. Jafarnia, who literally fixed the fracture. The surgery went very well despite the complexity of the trauma, and the aftercare was just perfect. He and his team constantly checked on me, ensuring I regained as much motion as possible while managing the pain effectively.
I highly recommend Dr. Jafarnia—he is truly the best at repairing difficult injuries. His PA, Jennifer Ogle, is fantastic, and the physical therapy team (Michelle, Andrea, and Scott) have been extremely professional, skilled, and caring.
I am so thankful to Dr. Jafarnia and his entire team for their outstanding care. Big thanks to all of you!

I am so grateful Dr. Jafarnia was recommended to me. From the very first person, he cared about my wrist problem. He explained with a drawing exactly what was happening. He gave me several options but said surgery would be the best. My surgery was seamless and my recovery has been excellent. What astonished me was that he called me the night after my surgery to tell me what he saw once inside and how he repaired the problem. I highly recommend Dr. Jafarnis for several reasons: his expertise; his caring demeanor; his follow-up care and concern; his confidence in his work and success. Dr. Jafarnia is one of the best medical people I have ever seen and I am a septuagenarian. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

I would like to share my complete story about my tennis elbow and wish I saw Dr. Jaffarnia before other doctors I visited. In April 2024 Dr. Siff performed an elbow procedure for my tennis elbow on the left arm and since the surgery my elbow became much worse and looked deformed. I went back to him numerous times complaining about the pain and he kept saying that my elbow will take a minimum of one year to heel with physical therapy. I did physical therapy at the Houston Methodist Hospital for 3 months but the pain never went away. Then Dr. Siff said to stop physical therapy and put me on pain medication including a very strong dosage of Aleve twice a day for about a month with no improvement. Then he put me on daily Celebrex for few months and still no benefit or improvement. I could not sleep at night from the pain. I asked Dr. Siff to do an MRI and after a long argument he agreed to do it because I insisted on it and when the result came back he told me it was clean and better than he expected. At that moment I didn’t believe him. I went ahead and visited Dr. Kourosh Jafarnia for a second opinion. He is also with Houston Methodist. He saw the latest MRI in MyChart and told me my tennis elbow is not fixed, it was very visible in the MRI, and confirmed with me that my elbow was also deformed looking which wasn’t like that before Dr. Siff messed it up. I scheduled a second surgery with Dr. Jafarnia in November 2024. My elbow today is 100% cured with zero pain and not deformed looking anymore. Apparently Dr. Siff did a lousy job on my elbow, lied to me about the result from the MRI, and put me on extended length of time on various medications for nothing. I believe MyChart should show all of the above if Dr. Siff properly documented the history. Additionally Dr. Jaffarnia’s documentation should also be in MyChart. I would like to thank Dr. Jafarnia for fixing my elbow and warn all patients and the Houston Methodist Hospital about the incompetence of Dr. Siff. I give Dr. Jafarnia 7 stars if it existed but 5 stars is the highest rating available as a choice and he truly earned it and deserved it. Thank you so much Dr. Jafarnia for everything. My elbow is fully heeled and the pain is completely gone. My left elbow looks exactly like my right elbow and the deformity is gone thank God and thanks to your impeccable skills. God Bless you Sir!!!

I am truly grateful to have found Dr. Jafarnia after a disappointing experience with a previous surgeon regarding my thumb surgeries.
Dr. Jafarnia demonstrated genuine understanding of my current condition. He acknowledged my difficulties and frustrations with my right thumb, thoroughly reviewed my medical records, and listened attentively to my concerns.
He promptly prescribed a treatment plan tailored to my needs and ensured that I was scheduled quickly for further care. His approach made me feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
The follow-up monitoring and continued care have been exceptional. I am extremely satisfied with the support and dedication shown by Dr. Jafarnia and his team.

When a tendon ruptured in my thumb, Dr. Jafarnia saved it by performing a tendon transfer from my ring finger. I now have 100% use of my hand. I trust Dr. Jafarnia completely.

Dr Jafarnia did an ulner nerve decompression and a carpal tunnel surgery on my arm and hand. I had a botched ulner nerve decompression two years prior at a different doctor/hospital by a neurosurgeon that caused two years of worsening, constant pain. I was given Dr Jafarnia's name by another doctor and I had researched for specialists and found Dr Jafarnia is the top hand/arm specialist in Texas.
Dr Jafarnia knew I was in a lot of pain and was able to get me in quickly, assess the issue, get imaging and set up the surgery. The pain had gotten so bad I wasn't able to sleep or get comfortable putting my arm down on anything, including a pillow. What a difference after the surgery! After getting home from the surgery I took one pain pill because I didn't know how bad the pain would get as the anesthesia wore off. The next afternoon I took a Tylenol. Then I didn't need anything for pain. The pain was finally gone. The caring, compassion, and skill of Dr Jafarnia and his team is amazing. I highly recommend and greatly appreciate Dr Jafarnia, his PA Jennifer, and their team for giving me my life back after years of constant pain. I wish I had gotten it done much sooner.
