Dr. Tie is very kind and compassionate. He takes the time to explain what's going on with your eyes and then he asks if there are any questions. He will explain his answers in a way to make sure you understand.

Initially, I found Dr. Tie to be rather mechanical in his approach focused strictly on my condition not necessary the impact on me and my way of life. He has become increasing aware of me as a person rather than a condition to treat. I believe him to be an excellent ophthalmologist and truly interested in his patients.
