Their level of professionalism is second to none, and my whole family has experienced amazing results, especially with their Invisalign treatment. They are the best at what they do, and I strongly recommend them!

I had a fantastic experience at Walnut Central Orthodontics! The staff is incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Dr. Kanabar is kind, professional, and took the time to provide great information about my Invisalign treatment. I truly appreciate the care and efficiency of this office—highly recommend! Recently, I had an issue with my permanent retainer, and they quickly coordinated my appointment so I could get in and have it resolved without any hassle.

Overall I have had a positive experience with minor hiccups at the end. I was in braces for two years and recently went in for my retainer checkup two months after debonding. All of the front office and the ortho techs were friendly. If someone didn't know the answer to my question, they referred to a coworker that did know to get me an accurate answer. When I went in for my initial consultation with the treatment coordinator and Dr. Choi, I felt at ease that I chose the correct ortho practice to straighten my teeth. I did get the feeling Dr. Choi was very busy and in a rush, likely from the many patients she sees. Regardless Dr. Choi was knowledgeably and explained the whole treatment plan with a patient and friendly attitude.
I had about one appointment every month during the course of my treatment and most of the appointments were on time. The ortho techs did take their time with small talk (Spanish is spoken as well), addressing any anxiety, and doing what it was I was scheduled in for. From what I could see the practice is clean and sanitary. I did have some reservations about the divisors (separating each patient and their tech from the others) being hung up on the ceiling and looking like it was going to fall down. I did mention this a couple of times to the ortho tech, but was told it was normal. Most of the time Dr. Choi came out with energy and smiles, eager to get to work with her patients. She provides excellent customer service and genuinely listens to what the patient has to say. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending Dr. Choi in particular to anyone needing orthodontics.
I was indicated Vivera (Invisalign) retainers and they have been comfortable to wear all day. There was an issue where my iTero scan was sent in and there was still a gap between my teeth on the top row, so I received in-house essex retainers for the top and Vivera for the bottom. I later bought into the Walnut Central Ortho's "Vivera Insurance Plan" aka "Retainer Replacement Program" so I would receive Vivera retainers for the top. It was nice to have this option available and would encourage others to ask about this program as retainers are a lifetime commitment from what I've been told. I wouldn't recommend in-house/essex combo as there was uneven pressure on my right jaw while sleeping and would wake up sore on that side.
I found the pricing to be reasonable given the value I received. I paid upfront but they do offer a payment plan option through OrthoFi for those that cannot pay in a lump sum. I later found out that was a Groupon special that I didn't know about; I am not sure if it still exists.
OrthoFi processed my dental insurance information without any issue and my insurance paid out every two months or so. I was laid off from my job and switched to COBRA, maintaining the same insurance information that was in their systems from the start. I asked the office if there was any issue with the payments and was told there was none from the COBRA transition. It wasn't until about three months later that I felt the need to re-confirm that the insurance is still paying out when I was told there was an issue. I won't go into much detail but there was a lot of time wasted on my part following up with Walnut Central Ortho front office, OrthoFi, and my insurance to move the process along and make sure I wasn't on the hook for the remaining balance that my insurance has yet to pay. In particular Mary from the front office did drop the ball and delayed for a couple weeks from getting to the resolution but Suzie from the front office was a superstar in picking up where she left off and getting to the finish line.
TLDR: You can't go wrong with Walnut Central Orthodontics and I specifically recommend Dr. Choi.

The team at Walnut Central Orthodontics is amazing! They made a plan that was tailored to my needs and I saw great results. The team was also very accommodating in scheduling and making last minute adjustments as needed. Just as important to note is the warm and welcoming environment, the staff truly cares about your experience from consultation, to each visit. I would absolutely recommend their services.

I’d recommend Walnut Central orthodontist to anyone! My daughter loves Ella, she always makes her feels comfortable during treatment! Destiny is always so welcoming as soon as we walk in! Keep up it ladies y’all are doing an amazing job!

My experience here today was nothing less of EXTRAORDINARY. From the energy and ambiance of the office to every single person I interacted with, I had a fantastic experience. First, I was greeted by Ms. Misty who had a smile on her face, treated me with kindness and answered all of my questions, & was very efficient. Just from that interaction alone, I knew my visit would be pleasant. For my braces consultation I was then greeted by Ms. Destiny. From the beginning to the end, she was lively, intelligent, & personable. I just had met her, but it felt like I was in the room with someone I knew for years. She answered any and all of my questions, and she explained everything very thoroughly which I appreciated. Lastly, I got to meet Dr. Choi who was efficient, funny, & engaging. She was able to tell me my options while simultaneously making me laugh and making me feel comfortable. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. 10/10 ladies! Keep up the great work!

Just finished my invisalign treatment and the whole experience was exceptional. I had Dr. Kanabar at first, and then Dr. Hildebrandt. Both were amazing! I've even seen Dr. Choi once. You can't go wrong with any of them. The staff is great too. I highly recommend this place.
