Dr. S has always treated me like I was family. He listened and he cared. His leaving the Kelsey Seybold family is going to be a tremendous loss to all of his patients.

Dr Sweillam is among the best of the best. He values his patients and is truly caring. To many physicians join these "groups" that only care about the $ and although they never went to medical school for twelve (12) years or longer they think they are the doctors . Ii am personally sick of it. Dr's like Dr S should be valued, I know I do.

I never saw Dr. Sellem. I saw the PA. Disappointed that there was nothing more they can do for me and I still have pain in my back. Also Dr. S is leaving. That is the second doctor to leave on me less than the year. My primary left as well. Kelsey needs to figure out a way to keep doctors and work on retention.

I love Dr. Sewielam! He is a true ONE of a kind specialist who has a passion for making his patients be at their best health. He LISTENS, shares his opinions, wants a partnership in your health plan. He has been my doctor for at least 5 years. I TRUST him. His office staff are rock stars because they communicate efficiently and effectively. I was alarmed to hear that Dr. Sewielam is leaving Kelsey Seybold after decades working there. Many of my doctors I love and trust are leaving. I don’t know what is going on with KS but it is not the clinic I recognize from my teens. (I’m 55 this year) It might be time to look for doctors elsewhere IF my established doctors are leaving. Why would you allow so many experts in their fields to leave with doctor shortages? Not good, KS and alarming. Plus if you choose a PCP at Kelsey and have Blue Cross Blue Shield good luck in getting an outside referral on a doctor YOU want to see. Then trying to schedule a specialist through KS are at least 3-6 month wait because they don’t have enough doctors! It’s maddening.

Because Dr. Sewielam genuinely cares about his patients. Best physician we have encountered during our time with Kelsey-Seybold. We don't mind the long trip there and back to see him. Will continue to do that.

Dr. Sewielam takes the time to evaluate what treatments are best fitted for my particular needs. I will be 77 years old in November of this year. I own an electrical contracting company which requires me to keep in excess of a full time work load but also calls on me to be very physically active on our job sites. My chronic lymphocytic leukemia, type 2 diabetes and advanced spinal stenosis present Dr. Sewielam with a staggering level of issues to consider when making decisions regarding my treatment.

Over the years Dr. Sewielam has demonstrated concern and compassion for his patients. He has empathy for patients, what they are experiencing in their healthcare battle l. Does his best to develop treatment plans that will lead to positive outcomes for the patient. However I would not recommend anyone to the orthopedic department at Kelsey. Appointment wait time is unacceptable.
