We had such an amazing experience at Smith and Pisklak Orthodontics. From the moment we walked in the door, every single staff member was kind, welcoming, and professional.
Dr. Pisklak was incredibly patient and personable. She made my son, Alic, feel completely at ease and took the time to explain everything directly to him, speaking to him with respect and making sure he understood what was happening and what to expect. She treated him like a person, not just a patient, and that meant so much to me as a parent.
What really stood out was how warm and engaging she was. Both Dr. Pisklak and Dr. Smith even exchanged jokes with Alic, and now it looks like that may be an ongoing thing we’ll have to make sure we come prepared with a joke for every visit! That personal touch made the entire experience feel relaxed and fun instead of stressful.
Miss Lori was absolutely wonderful. She was thoughtful and considerate about me not wanting Alic to miss school for a follow up and went above and beyond to help make that possible. That level of care and attention truly stood out.
Even when I called with questions beforehand, the staff on the phone were so friendly and helpful. From beginning to end, this was truly a perfect orthodontic experience. I cannot say enough great things about this office!

First impressions are everything with me and this place was amazing. The staff were so nice and polite, Lori and Dr. Smith had my mother and I laughing and feeling great.
They were professional and knowledgeable as well and did a great job explaining why certain treatment plans were better than others although still giving us the option to choose those plans if we were set on them. Dr. Smith and Lori were very transparent and gave us so much information and didn't rush us at any point.
I definitely recommend this orthodontist to anyone looking for braces or any treatment.

Dr. Katie Smith is hands down the baddest orthodontist in Missouri City, TX. After having braces four different times with other providers, she was the only one who finally got it right. Her expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. She didn’t just straighten my teeth—she corrected the underlying issues so that flaring and shifting didn’t come back after five or six months like before.
On top of that, her staff is absolutely amazing. They’re friendly, professional, and make every visit smooth and comfortable from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and take pride in their work. Thanks to Dr. Smith and her incredible team, my smile is finally stable, aligned, and exactly how it should be. If you want real results that last, this is the place to go.

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Smith for years (braces for the kiddos and Invisalign for me), and I honestly can’t imagine seeing anyone else. She and her team are amazing — always welcoming, kind, and genuinely make you feel like family the moment you walk in.
